Blogosphere: Blogs and the audience

Enric Gil

Abstract

The PhD paper deals with blogs and the construction of the audience in these Internet self-publication spaces. It is a multi-situated analysis, which starts with the presentation of the artefact, with its distinctive features, and the different publication systems of some twenty examples of the Catalan blogosphere. Once proven that the programme selection generates cultural solutions, the author has penetrated the world of weblogs from two perspectives.
